Creek view sites are a wonderful way to relax and experience the sounds of nature. Our landscape is picturesque with the water cascading over moss covered rocks, you will feel like you are in a fairytale wonderland, we call it Narnia. We offer several options for camping along Spring Creek. Each site is designed with privacy in mind and carefully tucked into the laurel thickets with adequate spacing. Please keep in mind the spacing is at least 50 feet or more apart from each site however if you look through the laurel, you might see your neighbor.

 

Creek view sites have hut style shelters (platforms with a roof) to set a tent up off the ground. These shelters hold a standard 8x8/9X7 or 2-4 person tent unless noted. There is a fire pit to have campfires but no grills or grates provided for cooking. Some camp sites have space to set your tent on the ground and use your shelter as a dry hangout space, great part is it's your space, your place, your way, you decide:)

All creek camping is a hike in or what some may consider a moderate to elevated cardio routine. We have people of all ages, YES all ages, come and stay by the creek. Our creek campsites require an 800-1000 foot hike from the parking area down/up a mountain trail with rocks and roots for stairs. There are only a few areas where small children may need assistance. We recommend shoes that have tread and are not slick bottomed. 

 

To have a great time make sure you remember that you don't need the kitchen sink, so pack accordingly as you will carry everything to your site, your car will stay in the parking lot of the camp store. Also keep in mind again that the trail is a standard mountain trail meaning rocks and roots for stairs so coolers that roll or any type of garden or truck cart will be WAY more trouble then it's worth. There is a portable commode located at the top of the trail for your convenience or you can hike the extra feet and come to the camp store and bathhouse. The bathhouse has two flushing commodes as well as two hot showers. All trash will be bagged and brought up to the camp store trash cans.
